We specialize in transforming innovative and experimental VR game prototypes and ideas, particularly from Yale University Computing and the Arts (CPAR) students and graduates (but really, anyone creative enough!), into fully realized, playable experiences. We act as a bridge between academic creativity and professional game development.
We're excited to have two promising projects in our pipeline. We have a fully functional prototype for Dish Pit Bubbleblast (our VR dishwashing game), and another highly innovative and experimental title in the concept phase. While we can't reveal its name just yet, it's designed to be a strong market competitor to games like Gorilla Tag, albeit with entirely distinct mechanics.
Our immediate focus is on securing the necessary investment to bring these ambitious ideas to life. We're actively planning to attend Venture Atlanta 2025 to connect with potential investors, and we're already in advanced discussions with a partner studio to begin development on one or both of these titles.
The Virtual Reality (VR) gaming market represents an incredibly exciting and rapidly expanding opportunity. It is projected to grow from an estimated $22.63 billion in 2024 to a staggering $189.17 billion by 2032, demonstrating immense potential for returns on investment.
We've already seen how relatively simple yet innovative VR titles can achieve massive commercial success. Games like Beat Saber, a rhythm-action game, have grossed over $255 million. The social VR game Gorilla Tag has surpassed $100 million in revenue, and even the unique experience of I Am Cat has achieved $100 million in gross revenue. These examples underscore that with creativity, smart development, and effective marketing, significant profits are absolutely attainable in this thriving market.

Absolutely, and we're happy to share it with investors.
Our core model relies on strategic outsourcing. Once a VR concept is selected, we build & refine a quick prototype. Next, we work with a network of trusted, external development teams and specialists (artists, programmers, designers, etc.) to build out the game. This allows us to scale efficiently and access diverse talent. We also partner with various video game social media marketing agencies who promote the game before, during, & after its release.
We're always looking to expand our core team with passionate and talented individuals who believe in the future of VR. If you have a general interest in contributing to our mission—whether in areas like creative direction, business development, partnerships, or even recruiting—we encourage you to reach out.
In our early stages, rather than traditional monetary compensation, we offer stock in the company for your contributions. This means your success is directly tied to the growth of our company. We understand that commitment levels vary, so participation can be on a voluntary basis, meaning you do not need to leave your current job or work full-time to contribute.
This flexible model also applies if you contribute a groundbreaking game idea that we decide to develop. In either scenario (general contribution or game idea), you will receive a negotiated and agreed-upon portion of stock in the company. Furthermore, if your contributed game performs exceptionally well in terms of sales, you stand to receive additional stock, directly reflecting the impact of your creative vision on our commercial success.
Yale students are at the forefront of interdisciplinary innovation, often exploring VR in unique and experimental ways that push the boundaries of the medium. Our connections at Yale gives us access to cutting-edge concepts and a pipeline of fresh talent.
Absolutely! Commercial release is a fundamental goal for every game we develop. Our purpose is twofold: to generate profit for our investors, shareholders, and game visionaries, and to provide a clear, exciting career path for talented Computing and the Arts graduates. We meticulously develop each experimental VR concept with market viability and player engagement in mind, aiming for successful commercial launches on major VR platforms.
Holding stock in our company offers a direct stake in our long-term success. As our VR games achieve commercial success, your stock will provide you with regular dividend payments, allowing you to continuously reap the financial benefits and share in our growth over the long term. This structure ensures that as our games flourish in the rapidly expanding VR market, so does your investment.
While our strong connections with Yale University's Computing and the Arts cohort serve as a valuable base for discovering exceptional talent and groundbreaking ideas, we are absolutely open to collaborating with any creative individuals and innovative game concepts. Our goal is to bring the most exciting and experimental VR experiences to life, regardless of their origin. If you have a compelling idea or specialized talent, we encourage you to connect with us!
We have a rigorous vetting process for all our outsourcing partners, based on their portfolio, expertise, and previous successful collaborations. We maintain close communication, implement milestone-based payments, and have internal quality assurance checks at every stage of development.

We're particularly interested in experimental, innovative, and unique VR experiences that push creative or technological boundaries. This could include new gameplay mechanics, artistic styles, storytelling approaches, or applications of VR beyond traditional gaming.
Our internal team reviews all submissions. We evaluate ideas based on originality, feasibility, potential impact, and alignment with our mission. We aim to provide feedback to all submitters, regardless of selection.
If your idea is selected, you become an integral part of our journey. Even if you don't have a prototype, we'll build one out for you, bringing your initial concept to life. More importantly, you'll be brought into our core team, receiving equity in the company as a valued contributor.
You'll then collaborate closely with us as our external outsourcing studio develops your idea. Throughout the process, you'll provide crucial creative and vision direction. To ensure the game's ultimate success and market viability, we'll also guide its development to be highly data-driven and informed by continuous QA feedback. This approach helps us refine the experience and maximize its potential for commercial success. We believe in empowering creators and seeing their groundbreaking visions through to a thriving market launch.
Our collaboration model is designed for shared success. Rather than a traditional payment or salary, you'll receive an ownership share in the company, which includes receiving dividends as the company profits. This aligns your success directly with ours.
In return, the company will own the intellectual property rights to the developed game, including all game assets and code. This structure allows us to fully invest in the game's commercialization and ensure its widespread success. For groundbreaking ideas or mechanics, if deemed necessary and strategically beneficial, the company may also produce the funds required to acquire a patent on the idea or mechanic. This ensures the long-term protection and value of your innovative contribution.
We're always looking to expand our network of talented outsourcing partners. Please email us at vortexcorpbusiness@gmail.com and submit your portfolio and areas of expertise. We'll review your submission and reach out if there's a potential fit.
We outsource a wide range of tasks, from concept art and 3D modeling to programming, UI/UX design, sound design, and quality assurance. Specific needs vary per project.
We expect high-quality work, clear communication, adherence to deadlines, and a collaborative spirit. Experience with VR development and agile methodologies is highly valued.
We utilize project management tools, regular video conferences, and dedicated communication channels to ensure seamless collaboration between our internal team, the game's visionary (or visionaries), and our outsourcing partners.
To ensure each game achieves its full commercial potential, we implement a comprehensive marketing and advertising strategy built on our core outsourcing model. This means we partner with specialized external agencies to handle everything from market research and audience identification to social media campaigns, public relations, and platform-specific advertising. We aim for maximum visibility and player engagement for every release.
Our goal is to reach the broadest possible audience for our innovative VR titles. We strategically target the major VR storefronts and platforms to maximize commercial success. You can expect our games to be available on prominent platforms such as:
The Meta Quest Store (for standalone VR headsets like the Meta Quest 2, 3, and Pro)
Steam (for PC VR headsets and PC VR users)
PlayStation VR Store (for PlayStation VR and PSVR2, where applicable)
Additionally, we may explore other platforms like SideQuest (for early access or experimental releases on Quest), Itch.io (often favored by indie developers), and other emerging VR ecosystems to ensure our games are accessible to a diverse range of players. We're committed to bringing our groundbreaking experiences to wherever VR gaming thrives.
Quality assurance (QA) isn't just a step in our process; it's a core value and an esteemed goal for every project. We're deeply committed to delivering polished, engaging, and commercially successful VR experiences.
To achieve this, we leverage the expertise of our game development outsourcing studios, many of which have dedicated QA divisions and departments. They conduct extensive playtesting and collect valuable data, gathering continuous input from diverse playtester groups. This qualitative feedback is then combined with quantitative data analysis from key performance indicators, allowing us to pinpoint areas for improvement and strategically refine mechanics, usability, and overall enjoyment. While our development partners lead the charge, we also maintain a degree of in-house oversight and preliminary testing to ensure everything aligns with our vision. This iterative, data-informed approach ensures the game is not only enjoyable but also poised for strong market performance and commercial success.
